Actually, the Commander shares virtually no components with Gold Line. It uses the same architecture as HTK, but is designed to be more compact and economical (hence the lack of a bill dispenser, no dual hopper etc.). The only real similarity is its size, and that was done intentionally to make replacement of an ACW or GL very straight-forward.
Only noticeable differences between the Commander and Goldline is the touch screen and the big price tag. I think it may be a tough sell for many washes that already have a Goldline unless there is an affordable conversion path. New installations that are considering an ICS may look at the commander as a lower cost solution. Will be interesting to see the adoption rate for the box.
