Yes they are very popular with the customers and get used a lot

Have installed these in a couple places. Both paid for themselves under a year. Tie their Contactor into the rotary switch.

i went with premier dryers a few months back (about 1650.00 each) in 5 bays. electrician was 2500. i had hour meters installed and was happy with the results enough to have them installed in 7 bays at another location 2 weeks ago, same electrician 7600. first location a lot less electric labor installing in the attic.

I feel your pain ! I tried one to see how it would go,hooked up on rotary , instructions, menu board. Plus my wash is attended and I would demo on regular basis. Worst than rug beater for usage. Its for sale now

$7600 to install 7 of those??!!! What in the literal blue hel?!!!

a lot of labor jogging around conduit and junction boxes on an 8 bay wash that all bays are positioned at a 45 degree angle. code also requires disconnects in each bay. ran extra conduit and wire into each pump stand for hour meters as well. my 2nd bid was 12,500 so i felt better about the 7600. each location is different as to how much work it takes!

Put it in one bay, see if it gets used, before going all in.

I put in 2 of my bays. "The Superbays" and by my calculations it ws about a 2 year cost recovery not accounting for electric usage cost.

it’s really easy to think they don’t have a good return because most people don’t use them. i would have felt the same if it weren’t for the hour meter to give me facts. i think trying them in 1 or 2 bays is a great idea just be sure to put the meter on to decide on the rest of the bays a year down the road. put up some signage as well

Just installed ours not too long ago, and i always come to the wash and see the selectors on air dry and or watch people use them, even in the snow. I think its a great option. Im tracking $$ so ill let you know how it’s increased sales or not in a few months. As i raised my overall price once we installed them.

as for cost, purchased them on kleenrite. With booms and such. ($6k ish for all 4) eletrician was $1,700 to run all the 220v lines and about $1000 for my wash tech to install them.

We purchased ours in June 2020 for all 6 bays. They are the Diskin Air Shammee II installed in attic. They were approx $12,000 total installed by Diskin Systems crew. They are used very frequently and I am positive they have fully returned the purchase price in the first year.
