Add-on products have always intrigued me as a way to drive the profit on a lower wash.

I have Unitec Portals. I'll have to look up %'s but it's not very high. Just something that I offer that doesn't cost me anything and adds to my $ average per car.

Lots of customers just love using the car wash and want to buy everything that you have to sell there. There's nothing wrong with that. Those are your best customers.

the problem is the gateway and processor keeps pawning off the problem to the other and i cant seem to make any headway. i guess they dont want to help me cause im not some big tunnel wash that does 200-300 cars a day and dont make them that kind of money

I've heard stories and have even witnessed myself standing in line where people at a fast food place will order a burger, fries, and a drink, the clerk offers to give them a number combo meal which is cheaper than the same items, but the customer would refuse. "No! I just want the separate items!"

I don't get why the clerk would even say a thing. Just give the customer the combo if it contains exactly what they ordered...no explanation needed.
