I just got an email from my distributor. Omron is discontinuing many of the electronic components now used in the WW, WW2.0, FusionX, and Efusion. They includes the various input and output cards, as well as the comm card. These will no longer be available after August 31st, 2022. There is not an immediate solution available right now but will likely involve an all new control system and the cost could well exceed 5K. That will likely render a first generation water wizard obsolete. I'm sure there will be used parts around but soon a component loss could lead to an extended shutdown until a replacement part is sourced. Busy sites may want to investing in a lot of omron spare parts to minimize the chance of downtime.

I've got some extra control cabinets from my old superior machine. They have several Omron components. Input an output cards etc. I wonder if they are compatible.
