I frequent another forum where superbrightleds.com is used and talked about quite a bit, and all the feedback I've read is positive.
Most of the eBay stuff is cheap because it's crap, usually over-rated or over-driven or just plain not safe. They don't have to conform to UL Listing to sell us stuff from China, and if it shows up not working there's not much you can do.
