Help with Medco lock.

I have one Medco lock that I can’t get open it’s stuck half way? Any ideas. I’m going to order a complete new one. You can PM me if that’s better.. thanks

Come on Randy......( the guru) any ideas. Seems like the spring inside is stuck so it won't pop out so I can turn it....

It's physically stuck somehow. Just force it out.

Maybe try a little Tri-Flow Teflon lubricant or heat gun? My locksmith recommends Teflon NOT WD-40.

Will the key go all the way in? If so I would suggest spraying the heck out of it with lube / solvent Insert key nd Tp of the key with hammer or other heavy metal object while trying to turn it back and forth.

I have extracted several by destroying them with the Randy method and replaced the barrel when keys were stolen.

Randy got me fixed up. Spray and tapping finally it popped open. I had a spare and changed it all good now. Thanks everyone.
