High Pressure Hose on the Razor.

We blew the first hp hose on the razor today .of course it would be the long one. And right In the middle of the love bug season .

I keep one each of the main hoses as well as a extra gearbox and motor. They always fail when you are the busiest!

The new stainless steel gear boxes on the razor (an upgrade option) look impressive. You notice the parts that were changed to SS immediately.

How old were your hoses? Mine lasted about 4 years each then they all went within 6 months of each other on both my IBAs So I keep one set of spares now.

Not sure what type of hoses the razor uses, but for my old ryko, I got tired of replacing the high pressure hoses every couple years and of course at the most inopportune times.
I switched them all to 5000 psi hydraulic hose. Its expensive, but pretty much bullet proof at my 850 PSI.

I grew to like a problem like this on my old automatic because it was obvious what needs to be fixed, I kept the parts in stock, and it was an easy quick repair.
