I would say it isnt necessary but it does help to melt snow and ice out of hard to reach areas like wheel wells etc... however that means you are spending extra money to heat the water just so people can spend LESS time spraying ice etc off their cars..... kind of backwards thinking if you ask me....lol if you do heat the water, i would advertise it as heated. Let people know that your water is all heated and maybe it works to convince customers your wash is somehow special, unlike the competitors..... kind of like a restaurant advertising that they have a comfortable dining room and heat and or air conditioning.... it almost implies their competitors dont without saying it.
