This is a very interesting ideal. I am at $1 for 2.5 min at most of my locations but I just raised one to $2 for 5 min a couple of months ago as a test. I dispense dollar tokens and or dollar coins at most locations and have bill acceptors at most locations. I thought about raising my startup price to 1.25 or 1.50 and giving the same time per pulse. If you do this I'm sure most people would deposit 2 bills, tokes, or $coins to start. I would love to have the $2 startup but if customers don't accept it the 1.25 or 1.50 may have the same effect on revenue.

We are at $3.00 for 3.5 minutes. And our vacs are at $2.00 for 5 minutes. Maybe CA isn't as price sensitive as the rest of the country. We have an express 2 blocks away that starts at $5, which is about as cheap as you will find in CA. There are no $3 EE washes in CA. Thank God.

The SS industry will die if its prices does not keep pace with expenses/inflation.
