So I've been searching trying to find the most definitive ratio chart for the 506/511 hydrominders.
I "tune" the mixture by observing what comes out of the nozzle at the point of use, but I think it's helpful to know how much of an increase or decrease there is when making a change one step up or down. I also realize the ratio is a function of water pressure at the hydrominder and the viscosity and specific gravity of the chemical.
But assuming 40 psi inlet pressure AND a specific gravity & viscosity of water, this is what I've been able to put together. I may have messed this up. So if you see any errors or would like to add anything, please chime in.
I think this could be useful to others.

There are a few additions to the tips. There is a "new style red" that is between purple and aqua, and there is also a lean gray and lean black between purple and pink.

I use these charts for ratios. I printed these, placed them back to back and laminated them. I keep it with my box of metering tips.

There are many charts online and also a chart that comes with every hydrominder...I've always used the Scotch Plaid chart and have it printed for the ER...The only addition I would add, is soap and wax can easily be adjusted using needle valves once you've started with the recommmeded "Tip" and chemical ratio....I like using Dwyers flow Meters to dial everything in and to make all the bays identical. For FB, PS, TF, etc, you have to tip up or down to get the proper show that you are looking for....Water quality also plays a huge part in this process. Soft water will save you lots of $$$ in chemical costs.
