We recently just replaced these two coin acceptors that were having issues. One wouldn’t accept $1 coins if they were too shiny. The other wouldn’t accept any coins unless the door was tightly squeezed against the rest of the metal body (we used tuck tape for this) I’m wondering if there’s any tips or tricks to clean and possibly refurbish these as it never hurts to have a couple extra backups handy.
