Doug,

You and I are in agreement on this. No pastor I have ever sat under has endorsed a candidate or even tried to persuade their congregation one way or the other. Their job is to preach the gospel, not politics. If the they want to leave the pulpit and go into politics, that's fine, but the two don't mix.

Hmmmm, sounds strangely like something Jimmy Carter would say. I think America is ready for another Jimmy Carter. Maybe in 2012 we'll wake up with an Obama induced hangover thinking "what the hell did I do in 2008" and elect a real conservative, not some faux conservative like McCain.

Hang on for the numerous outrageous things Obama has said in his books--he will be given plenty of opportunity to explain the context.

Hiliary blew it out in WV as projected. We in WV will not soon forget Obama's comments and actions. Looks like WV is a lock for the republicans yet again.
