In Bay Dryers

earl,
I bought some used Air Shamees. Going to install them next month @ the 2 washes we are closing on. How will you install that cuff? Is it just an easy screw in, like a vac? Or what?

Since the Hose slips over the end of the boom (Secured with a hose clamp0 just like it could slip over a 2" Vac Nozzle then my thought is a swivel cuff for the same nozzle would slip over the boom. I will secure with a hose clamb and then the hose will screw into the cuff just lkike it does for the Vacs.

Earl, does the boom take 2" or 1 1/2" hose? I bought 1 1/2" hose to try on the vacs and threw them all away about a month later because they kept breaking. I don't think I've had a 2" hose break that wasn't several years old.

did you buy the hose from kleen rite? If so, call them about the breaks. They had an issue with vac hoses breaking a few months back, maybe you got part of that bad batch.

It was quite a few years back. It was the Smooth-Bor hose which has never been a problem in 2".
