Good afternoon all,

The memory on my TSX17 PLC has cleared and now I need to get back up and running again asap.

What I need is the TSX17ACC8 transfer cable and an EEPROM chip, TSXMCD70E324, so I do not run into this problem again. I have been quoted by Schneider for these parts, however their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Anyone have any ideas as to where I can locate these items?

Also, the former owner of AOK equipment and sales Robin Tacheny, may have one of our old TSX17 PLC's, but we are not sure because we do not know how to reach him. If anyone has any idea as how to get ahold of Robin or a Bruce that used to work at AOK that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Try Kevin at H2O Wash Systems 612-270-2025. He is a former Aok distributor and has helped me with parts before. I'm not sure what to do if my computer goes down. Everything else is replaceable with off the shelf stuff but that. He said he can still get computer parts for mine but I have a couple of newer machines(2003). Good luck and keep me posted if you find someone else to help as I know my day is coming and not looking forward to it.

Thanks man!

I'll give him a call here today and see what we can do. I actually found a source in Ireland believe it or not, and this guy is bending over backwards for us. And all for free! I know it sounds too good to be true, but we've spent hours on Skype chatting and he is going to give us the PL7-2 software for free! (Schneider quoted us at $1,281) And he is checking today for an EEPROM chip to load our wash programs onto and is going to send it to us for the shipping charges only. I guess there are still good people left in this World. I went out on a limb and emailed this guy from one of his posts on a PLC forum. He replied 5 minutes later and here we are much closer to solving our problem.

If you have any problems in the future concerning PLC's and automation etc. let me know and I'll see if I can get you his contact info.
