Hello, I'm new to the forum- great resource!

Looking at the ryko pulse -
It will be used alongside our conveyor so it will be a low volume application- mostly for night time use when conveyor closes as well as for the touch free consumer

We are a stand alone car wash

Any info on the quality of the machine or ryko in general they're new to me

Thanks in advance

I just went through a brand new installation a couple of times with 2 different cars. It did not have the cleaning ability of the more expensive ryko touch less washes. It is sold as a low cost low volume touch less car wash. I run rumps and personally would not be interested in owning one of these. Just no sizzle so to speak.

Do you think it could have been due to chemistry?
Or machine operation related -as in insufficient chemical coverage? Or insufficient pressure from the nozzles?

It coated the car fine with presoak and the triple foam was OK. It just did not have the impact that I am used to seeing with the high impact pump that uses more water at lower pressure. This pump was not a high volume type and just did not give water impact on the car that I am used to with a radius wash.

Economic factors of in-bay automatic are price (capital) and expense (variable unit cost).

An expensive aspect of touch-less is high-pressure pump and bay equipment.

One way to lower price and expense is reduce pump horsepower.

Laser 4000 proved that single inverted-L is a very economical design.

Pulse fits this equation but is it the right solution for your problem?

For example, carwash developers usually invest when there is a good opportunity present.

Low volume, night time use and touch-less consumers (at conveyor site) do not sound like much of an opportunity.

For example, one my clients has conveyor with in-bay alongside. It’s a G-5 with all options. He prices the in-bay “very high” and makes “very good” money.

So you might want to reconsider strategy before spending several hundred thousand dollars for building and equipment to test the waters.
