Our AMS-39-VCF no longer is accepting any $5 bills so we are looking for a replacement or repair of its Coinco BillPro BP4SX bill validator. Is the MEI-Bill-Validator-VN-2702 a quick swap out for it? I believe Shurvend has an improved version of this same vendor. The validator works perfect on 1s, 10s & 20s though so if somehow it lost its $5 upgrade ... how spendy would it be to reinstall the upgrade this late ... after the new version of the $5 came out in 2007 or whatever.

mjwalsh,

The VN 2702 is a quick swap out for the Coinco if you do not have a security mask to protect the Coinco. My advice would be to put in a Mars because the quality is better and don't waste your money repairing and upgrading the Coinco. PM me if you want to buy a new Mars VN 2702.

Mike, The Mars VN2702 should be a direct replacement for the Coinco validator. The reason these vending companies install the Coinco validator is to make their equipment less expensive so it looks more attractive to the customer who buying the vending machine. I’ve got a recon VN2702 if you need one, I’ll give you a smoke’m deal on it.
