I just installed the Digimax and used anchors that required a 3/8" hole in the block wall for mounting. Solid.

FWIW I've not had good luck with the Red Head brand anchors. I get wedge anchors from a local bolt supply that have never given me problems. Keep in mind wedge anchors like that won't work in cinder block or brick with voids, and they don't hold very well in solid concrete block, should be fine for a vendor but they won't hold their rated weight.

I hang vendors with 5/16" high quality (not the cheap smooth type) plastic insert anchor with a 1/4" stainless screw. They'll hold in hollow cinder block since they expand inside the void.

If block is hollow I tend to use threaded rod all the way thru the wall with a fender washer on the inside.
