Found Brush hose broken

Put on new assembly. Worked for an instant or 2 then watery. Notice compressor not running.

Had a spare. Ran fine on the bench. Removed brass fitting from installed compressor and put on spare. Tested it. Didn't run. Found one of the brass fittings was a check valve - Stuck closed. Sprayed it up with WD 40 - Works. Compressor ran, then it would not re start. Then it ran , then would not re start. Spare had same issue. (Shampoo pump runs fine - continuosly)

Thought maybe it was a bad relay. There are 2 Side by side on the back wall in about the center- swapped them - Same issue. Is there another relay somewhere for the compressor?

Is it possible the check valve is still sticking? Maybe pressure is trapped in the line and the compressor can't come on?

Thought I tried to cycle it several times without any fitings. I will try again.

I'm not that familiar with the wiring, but the blowdown function hints to me that the timer has an output just for the compressor. Swap timers and try it. IIRC there is also a mini fuse in there, but not sure what they protect.
