I have a JC Sham/Vac and lately the green in service light is on, but the red out of service light is also flashing. The unit is full of soap and works fine, but I can't figure out why both lights are on. Does that mean anything? I tried resetting the machine with no luck, so I just unplugged the red light for now. Any idea what the issue is?

Thanks.

My initial guess is that would be a timer issue. Swap timers with another unit if you have one and see if the problem follows the timer.

I will give that a shot, but I'm curious, what does the timer have to do with the service and out of service lights? I didn't' think they were related?

Well, I haven't looked at the schematic, but the timer somehow "knows" when the unit is out of shampoo. I assume it also controls the lighting circuit since I can't recall any other flashing circuitry in the vac.

Which the leads from the green light too the red light and see if the problem goes with leads if it does , bad switch in tank if not could be in wires connectors or bulb itself.
Hope this helps.
