I saw that in looking for one. The description says if you are using a single door vac then you need their gasket also but I'm not sure why.

I have narrowed down the issue with one of the three fragrances not priming. After removing the inlet fittings on the solenoid block I can see the plungers and one is not opening. When I try to remove the coil nut the shaft just spins. Is there something I'm overlooking to remove the coils to get inside the valve portion? The way they mounted it to the bracket is by sandwiching it between the block and coils. I think this is the one:

There is a nut at the base of the stem. You'll need a deep socket to get it loose. I believe it's 7/8".

I'm just trying to get the coils off first. If the stem is spinning when trying to get the coil nut off then why wouldn't it come off coil and all?

That sucks. The stem isn't part of the nut so it can spin if the coil nut is stuck in its threads. You may have to order a replacement coil and stem assembly and destroy the old one to remove it, maybe file or grind a slot in the stem for a screwdriver to keep it from turning.

I was thinking the same thing about grinding in a slot or destroying it worse case scenario. I'll have to try and remove the shampoo and spot pumps to get the thing out of the vac. There's a lot of stuff in this vac.

You'll destroy the stem grinding into it. It's very thin material, not like a Kip solenoid.

That's okay. At least the coils might be saved.

I was able to get them out by slotting the stems and saved the coils and the special aluminum nuts.

Nice, they must not be the type of stem I thought they were. I expected they'd be press-formed out of stainless and too thin on the top to cut a slot. Now that I think about it, those have a clip that holds the coil on and not a threaded nut.

I think they are pricey because Bill at GC Valves said they are $92 list price. Probably half that retail I'm guessing. I'm waiting on a price from Kleen-Rite.

Looks just like a Jim Coleman part. You could get a price from them also.

That is a replacement stem for a Components for Automation Solenoid block.

I don't see anything like it for sale. It's not a manifold setup but is basically three separate valves mounted to a block. I might be able to mount three of these but I'm not sure they would fit as this thing is small and packed in with other pumps.

I just measured it and it's tiny at about 2 7/8" long, 1 3/8" wide, and 2" tall with coils and all. How big is the Kip valve I linked to? I might be able to mount them wherever there is space but I doubt they would fit in the bracket this valve is in now.

I pried out the plunger, cleaned it, reassembled and now all three selections work great for now.

I saw that one but it has a common inlet. The one I have has a separate inlet for each valve since there are three fragrances. I'm not really sure why they didn't just install three separate valves and not use the block. That way it would be easier to replace just one.

You're right, I wasn't thinking about them switching different chemicals. I'll try to remember to look for a Kip alternative or get you a part number for the Adams replacement stem or whole assembly if you think you might need it.
