Slugbuster II or III are the cheapest way to take
tokens. Slugbuster II will take a customer's $1
coin and only give a quarter credit. Slugbuster III takes $1
coins, quarters, and one
token, and you can turn off the $1
coin if you want. IDX MA850 will take quarters, $1
coins, and up to six different
tokens. According to a fellow operator I know they've been reliable for him, but IDX has not been very good about supplying or repairing units. Microcoin QL used to be really good from what everyone has said, but I recently installed two new units and I'm having a lot of problems with
coin jams.
You only need to replace the
coin acceptor to accept
tokens.
