well, my height restriction for my automatic wash didn't exactly work last night when a customer with a big huge rack on his Silverado smashed through it. He pretty much demolished the height restriction which will have to be totally rebuilt, including angle iron, bracing, pressure treated lumber, and signs.

The car wash fared well, surprisingly. The arch rotate error shut everything down and there was only some minor damage to certain components on the wash itself.

The good news is that I'm still in business today because it's going to be a super busy day. Could've been a lot worse I guess.

The customer actually went to the police himself because he knew he damaged the car wash. So I have a police report, his license plate, etc. I'll be calling his insurance later today to begin the claims process.

Woah surprised that person thought it would be a good idea to go through a wash with a overhanging rack like that. That is good that the customer was honest and didn't try to deny anything.
