Has anyone tried any of Kleen Rite's Kleen Track Touchless soap line and what do you think of it? I am not happy with my current powder soap setup for how much it costs to run for a little more money I might make the switch to KRs Kleen Track liquid.

what is the problem you're having with the powder? I used to use KR in bay presoak liquid and liked it just fine except for the cost. cars come out better now and there is more show and it is less expensive by far. i mix up the powder and it stays mixed till it's gone.
The powder mix I was getting from my distributor was costing me the same price as the top of the line liquid presoak but it had good foam, noticeable clean scent and cleaned well. It is just too expensive for powder and the chemical handling involved. So I found Simoniz Correct and other operators on the forum use it too and were happy with it and it was also recommended by others. After getting it dialed in at the recommended titration with foam additive it is almost costing me the same price as KRs liquid presoak. Correct's show still is not like my old mix and it has no scent when being applied. It is also separating in the barrel but don't get confused it is not supersaturated. The color of the solution on top goes from orange yellow to yellow and there is no precipitate. Now I just have to see how it cleans. I feel that the Correct isn't going to meet the perceived value to my customers.

I liked it just fine. my drum cost is $125 with powder vs. $346 for 55 gal drum. (i am 1 chem 2 step).

I am drawing 24/1 with correct ($0.04/diluted gallon) and 400/1 foam additive ($0.02/diluted gallon) totaling $0.06/diluted gallon for correct and foam additive. Kleen Track 2B with dilution ratio range of 64 - 90 now looking at $0.05 - $0.08/diluted gallon.

i use Kleen track 2A and 1B in a two step presoak. Run both at 75/1. Used powders maybe 20 yrs ago would never go back. Powders get used faster (lower dilution) and are a pain to deal with. When i used powders they were not very consistent, one box would be good the next would be have tons of filler. I do know my competitors use powder and they use alot of it. I could not be happier with the kleen track products. Use top products and charge accordingly, guys get hung up on every penny and quality suffers. You are in business to be in business.

for some liquid may be easier and better, but if you want to talk about fillers, you should mention all the water added to the powdered ingredients which is then shipped motor freight. That's some filler.

wikiwash , with that combo i think you will be happy. When you get down to it using a powder especially in a touchless auto you will blow through at twice the clip (if not more), which means you buy more (more shipping). Powders also require foam enhancers which liquids do not. Fillers become a problem when they dont dissolve and start to clog things up. I would rather throw a pickup tube in a drum and be done, not add water, mix , and hope it stays in solution, been there.

I agree liquid is easier to use. never noticed a 2x draw down.
Check your titration to make sure you are with in range. It will let you know if you are too lean, too strong, or just right. I have been doing powders for over 10 years now and every few batches I have to adjust metering tip sizes.
