Kudos to KR

Anyone in business who claims they never mess up is a liar or doesn't do much of anything. A true measure of service is how you correct the error.

Got my KR order and couldn't find 2 items,. (2 Hydraulic motors. Cost over $400.00) My guys unwrapped it, didn't check it and of course the truck is long gone.

Figured I was SOL but

Called KR and asked them to double check the shipment. They said they would and called me back in 20 minutes. Apparently by checking their inventory before and after my shipment and determining it was the same instead of 2 items less they confirmed their mistake and are sending items.

Lots of complaints about various providers on this site . We need to highlight the good stuff too.

They've definitely gotten better about getting orders right and correcting them quickly when they make a mistake. It hasn't always been that way, getting an exchange when it was their fault still meant me sending the wrong part(s) back at my expense, waiting for them to evaluate and eventually send the right part or credit for the wrong one. Now they just ship the correct item and email me a call tag.

Just hung up with Kleen-Rite 5 minutes ago regarding an order mistake. Don’t have them very often, ususally seems to be when they have some kind of promo going on. Anyway, explained the mistake and the billing issue is already corrected and the missing parts on the way. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how you handle them and Kleen-Rite always makes it right.

We placed a $3,000 web order on Friday with the free shipping show code. They charged $126 shipping. When I called about it they did say they would refund it but said "we will fix it this one time". That statement seemed strange to me because they were the ones that messed up. We really like Kleen-Rite and they are great when you consider they don't have any REAL competition.

I've had that happen too. Most likely the order taker forgot to enter the promo code. Someone once told me they placed an order and he didn't know to give them the promo code and was upset they didn't just automatically ship it free because it was an order placed in February. They told him the same thing, ""we'll fix it this one time."

ditto here, used the promo online, got invoice that said free shipping in the body of the invoice, but shipping was added in below. Did get a quick positive response from email to customer service to fix it. must have been a glitch when the promo was set up in their system.

I understand the one time statement if a promo code was put in buy the buyer, but only then. They have charged me shipping a few times on backordered items from a shipment that had free freight and I never had trouble getting it refunded. Some CS for them are definitely nicer than others.

Kudos again to KR. Order 4 Wobbleheads in Blue as part of a big order. Shipping invoice said "Discontinued" . Reached out to customer service and asked why they didn't reach out to tell me they only come in Black now. Said they did not know why but sending 4 with free shipping now.
