My IVS 2 motor vacuums. I want to get the most power/suction I can with a standard 2 motor set up. They are on 30amp breakers. What do you suggest?

Try a couple of these in a vac. They fit in an IVS vac with no changes, they have more volume AND more lift than the VMK19 from Kleen-Rite and are a bit quieter. It has more vacuum lift than the one you linked, which won't fit in an IVS without a lot of work. You'd need to plug the original hole and cut a new one as well as drill holes to mount the motor. For less than half the cost and a lot less work you could change to the Domel and add a third motor and have more volume and lift than two of the Lamb.

They may be 60% more expensive but they've so far lasted five times longer, well worth it. I know they rust out in yours so you won't be better off.

That's what I saw too.

I use the 492. I'll do a load test today and see. You won't ever see "full load" unless the service door is open.

All my breakers are 20 amp, all my motors are Domel 492, and I've never had a breaker trip.

Years ago when they still had a Western Car wash convention I used to talk to the guy at the Smooth Bore vacuum hose booth every year, he was there every year. In our conversations he told me that you can only get 210 CFM’s up a 2” vacuum hose. He used to laugh when people would come to the smooth bore booth and want to add more motors to the their vacuums. When my vacuums were new I used to get complaints that the hose nozzle would suck the carpet up off the floor of the car. With all that said I would keep what I’ve got now. Keep your vacuum door gaskets in good condition, clean out you vacuums regularly and you shouldn’t have many problems.

Is this what you're using? Will this fit in a standard 2 motor IVS vacuum with a plastic dome?

That's what I use. It's a standard size, same as the Kleen-Rite VMK19. They're both about 1/8" taller than the cheap KR motors from 10 years ago, but the bracket will stretch to fit it. Some of mine had the screw strip out of the top of the tank so I drilled the hole out to 1/4" and secured a bolt with a thin jamb nut to act as a stud. That takes up the difference and it fits easily and holds more securely. The only downside is the original screw in the IVS motor won't thread into the Domel easily and will probably break off before it tightens down, you'll need a #10 self-threading machine screw or short sheet metal screw and to use the larger hole.
