Just wondering
Mine r at mostly 3
Side is at 4
Length at 7
While we're here what's the key to actually drying a car
Running to 35's
But then have never really seen a wash fully dry a car. The ones that adjust with car seem to do pretty well
Anyways thanks

Yeah droplets get blown around by dryers. The bigger the droplets from your drying agent the worse it is imo.. Smaller beads blow off and dry better.

One way to improve drying is to make sure you have a neutral or acidic surface post wash. If you double pass base drying will suffer, high pH will reduce drying agent and drying ability.. Following a weaker acid with too high an alkaline will leave a high pH surface and reduce drying ability. Balancing them helps. If you can apply acid as second pass in two step (if it's not too hot), drying will be much better. If you apply anything else post wash that is low pH/ acidic, like certain trifoams, it can improve drying and help counteract high pH left after the wash cycle.

I run the first soap pass at speed 5, the second soap pass at speed 7, waxes and spot free at speed 7, polysealant and drying agent at speed 9 with the water saver on and set to 400 psi., first high pressure rinse pass at speed 0 water saver off and set to between 1100 and 1200 psi., any additional rinse passes are run at speed 9 with the water saver on and set to 400 psi.

My sides are set to 4 and length to 6.

Using a low ph tricolor foam or foaming wax will help with drying. Keeping your Spot Free Rinse water at a ph between 6.8 and 7 will help with drying. If you have a free standing 40 Hp LaserDri will help with drying. The 30 Hp model and the LaserWind (which is 30 Hp) do not work as well.

I hope this helps.
