So I recently rented a old circle k car wash, it has the laser wash 4000 which appears to be in critical condition, I am wanting to get rid of the equipment so I can have a bare building to work out of, I am wondering is the equipment worth anything I know it has a couple thousand just on the huge generalpump my question is how much is a good price for the whole entire setup

It's totally dependent on condition. You could probably sell some of the parts if they are in good condition. The whole thing has a several hundred in scrap value alone including the pump stand and pumps. Carwashconsignment.com is a good place to place to get a general idea. If it works well as is and is reliable and in decent condition someone may buy it as a whole unit.

I took an older but nice CAT 3535 out of service in FEB 2021. I put it up for sale. It's sitting in my detail shop under a shelf.

Things are worth what people will pay for them!

I posted a similar post last week since I’m pulling a nice 4000 unit next week. Has triple foam, hot wax, ceramic and dryers. I was asking $3000 for 2- 4000’s. The other pulled 4 yrs ago. I just want it off my lot lol. I know cat 3535 pumps go for $2000 alone but there are many on CarWash Consignment.

Is there any companies that buy the unit, I’m trying to convince the owner to let me sell it, he is saying that it works but when the gas station changed hands it was just never turned on but it has sat empty for 7 years

You rented a building with an old car wash in it. You want a bare building to work out of so you want the car wash equipment removed. (i’d assume you dont want different car wash in that space. )

You rented the space with equipment in it.

The car wash equipment apparently is not yours (not given to you as part of the lease).

the equipment belongs to the owner...ask the owner remove the old carwash equipment per your lease.

That is correct, he is open to sell it it’s just it’s huge and looks impossible to remove without a forklift and several sets of hands he’s instructed me to list it and sell it on his behalf for him, should I just put it on fb marketplace if is there companies that buy these or?

Doubtful that you will find a company to buy it. Honestly if it has been sitting in there a while it probably isnt worth more than what a few of the more valuable parts are worth. There are several car wash facebook pages where you can list items for sale, as well as on this forum. You will need a forklift and a few guys to remove it.
