Laurel electronic vendor coin cup

I’m having an issue with the coin cup cycling halfway and stopping. The next customer then inserts coins which bounce off the bottom of the cup and back out of the machine. The product drops, but the coin cup is empty. (Since they bounced off the cup) The cup then spins halfway again to the starting position. This machine is from 2004 and still has the old style board. Is the motor going out or possibly the board? Thanks for any suggestions.

It's the motor. I just replaced one for the same reason.

That was my first thought, but I didn’t notice it until Friday night. That’s normally when my problems occur. Just after closing time for the weekend. I’ll reach out Monday. Thanks

Laurel Electric vendor. the vendor is rejecting about every 3rd coin. An employee took it apart over a coin jam. Is there a accept/reject adjustment that could have gotten changed? Any Ideas?

It would be very hard to change the adjustment. Your "employee" either got something misaligned or damaged it.
