LED 5?

I know the Dixmor LED5 is discontinued. I have a LED7. Can I use the 7 with the current LED5 harness or do I need to rewire with a new harness? I know the white fitting fits as I tried a quick swap without joy. Wondering if I need to rewire or if I should be looking for another reason the timer is dark. I know the meter box has power as the CryptoPay swiper has juice as does the slugbuster 3. Nothing obvious with the wires. Meter box is a monorail from 1970 so due for a change soon when I upgrade the entire wash with new equipment. Just do not like to have a bay OOS. Thx

LED5 and LED7 use the same harness. The LED3 is the only one that's really different, and you can still use the same harness, you would probably want to cut the looped wire connecting terminals 8 and 9 (Probably doesn't matter) or connect the wires of terminals 8 and 9 to use the LED7 harness with an LED3.

Thx for the reply. I swapped a 5 from another bay and it worked. Conclude that the cables matter and the 5 is gone bad. Maybe it is a wire or two difference but looking for a spare 5 if I have one around.

Update. I spoke to Dixmor. The 5&6 are interchangeable without rewire. They will attempt to fix any 5 sent back to them for repairs. FYI LED3 shares the same cabling as the LED7 (in case of emergency)

They are of course correct. I looked at this manual and assumed the wiring was for both the 5 and 7, but only the programming instructions are the same. The wiring for the 5 and 6 are the same.
