I have LED7's in all my SS bays, but was helping someone upgrade, and came across the LED6. Is there a reason to use one over the other feature wise? I don't really see anything different about them other than the form factor. Thanks.

The LED6 display is dot matrix and scrolls smoother, but there seems to be more problems with the display failing. You're right, they have basically the same features.

FWIW I just switched my LED7 timers to "RETRO" which means it just displays the start-up price static and doesn't even scroll. My customers don't read anything.

5 soon to be 6 pieces of equipment in our laundromat have the LED7s besides all the 6 bays & 4 vacuums. For the Vacs & the laundromat equipment ... the scrolling ... kind of IMHO "jazzes up the place a weee bit".

I had no idea there was a RETRO option lol. Still learning I guess. Just changed some over. No one's customers read and the more scrolling the more confusing.
