About 3-1/2 feet deep at the drainage swale in the middle of my lot, the flow was about 6 or 8' per second - slow enough that I'd cross it if I really wanted to, but fast enough that I'd take precautions.

I was pretty bad about letting my pits go too long, but not that bad...

I may post that pic at my wash on a sign that says "This is what happens when you brain-dead M'fers dump oil in my pits!"
