u just made me spend $1000 on little trees from Windtrax. I hope it turns out to be a good investment. I hope the shelf life is longer than 2 years because I bought 2 years worth of air freshner. There price is very good on the pina colado at $25.50 a box. The rest is $29, which is still better than $33.50. I guess I keep prices at $0.75 for another 2 years.
I've had them priced at $1 for years, and even though I always thought that was a little high given the cost they have always sold well. At least now I'll be more comfortable about the mark-up.
I think i have been $1 for 4-5 yrs now, no one thinks twice. I end up buying big
orders anyways with 5 washes about 10 boxes of each to stock supply 2-3 times a year. I think the cheapest i remember them is around $20 dollars a box in 1990. We have went from around .27 to .40 plus ship and and sales tax. It will soon make $1.25 difficult with $1 tokens. It looks like a great business opportunity to get into the air freshener business, .40 for paper that smells seems to be getting high. One of my most popular sales is a wash cloth that is cotton and i buy from Wmrt. I think i get 16 for $4 or .25 and sell for $1.25, so a piece of paper shouldn't be so high priced . I am also guessing their sales have never been higher, i used to sell almost nothing in freshners with 5 selections, now some shurvends have 8 and some have 14 different trees , so i am buying 5 times more trees than i used . For the first time ever went to their website, they are in 195 countries, on website found a $38 tree outfit for my kids to advertise wash dressed as a tree
