Loud Bang Belanger DuraTrans

It’s rare but it happened twice yesterday a roller comes up when we send a car and just as it comes up it makes a loud bang noise I have no idea what it is does anyone have any clue what it could be.

Is the roller catching the deck ?

Everything seems normal when it happens the car isn’t on top of the roller or anything and nothing seems off on the roller that’s doing it. It comes up just fine when it happens.

Just a guess but check bearings at Drive and Take up. Could be as the roller comes up tension is increased which wll put pressure on bearings and if one is bad you will hear the bang.

Dolly up could not be fully extending and pressure from dolly pinches a bit and sends take up fork into upper rail with a “bang”.

We had this issue recently and needed to replace the entire roller up cartridge assembly. It only got louder and more frequent to the point where it was actually just sending rollers up when they were not being called for.
