LW4000 Buzzer Continuous sound...

Folks,

Noticed my buzzer was out of commission this weekend. Went to my distributor to purchase a new one. Upon installing the new one, I noticed water in the JVT box and in the buzzer. I presume it is the cause of the faulty buzzer.

So, I installed the buzzer and it runs continuously. Any tips, tricks or helpful advice to fix this issue?
 
is there a way you could have the wires hooked up incorrectly? since you know where water got in, i'd go back to that. take connections apart, strip wires back (if applicable), make new connections, test existing connectors. maybe there is a connector involved with green corrosion that is making a short you can't see.
 
Dip switches are correct. I did wire it properly. The water was the concern. I talked to Troy at PDQ and he thought there might be a short. I think striping the main connecting wires and as they got wet might be a good place to start. Any other thoughts?
 
The volume dip switch should be in the ON position to get the full volume. As for the other dip switches, it appears that you will want 1-3 on and 4-5 off. Changing these dip switches will only affect the tone that the buzzer makes.
 
Not sure how alike my High Velocity is but, I have problems at times where the relays for the inbay light box will stay on. I pull the relay and clean contacts and all is well for awhile. Is it possible that the buzzer was going bad and pulled too many amps and your relay is stuck on??? If thats the same setup?!?!?!? Just a thought.
 
Update:

It was the VT controller. I had it installed new 3 weeks ago. Went out today(after running all new wires to the buzzer...didn't help) and bought a new VT controller. Problem solved, of course, but threw a lot of parts at that LW4000.
