So right now I am using a log book to track repairs and maintenance at the carwash, however I would like to move to electronic recored keeping.. Is anyone using any type of software that will track the parts and what was done to a piece of equipment? If so how is it?

I don’t t know if there is dedicated specific software to do this, but you can just create a spreadsheet in any database program like excel or numbers and log everything there. You can set it up and totally customize it to your needs. You can sort things by name, date repaired etc. If you are not comfortable with programs like that, there are probably tons of YouTube resources , but they are really quite simple to set up and use and you only need to make it as extensive as you need it to be.

I settled on Maintain X, after working with it for a while and getting everything set up it is working for us pretty well.

I just googled for you, it says accordev and kinnvois on another forum. Dont know if they are good management softwares.

Yeah I went the google route, but nothing out there really had what I was looking for without adding extra options and at a price...I met Maintain X at the carwash show and they are pretty good and for the most part it is doing what I want with one complaint, I wish inventory was better in the aspect of counting consumables (chemicals) on a regular basis. Their inventory module is really good with parts but doing an inventory count on a regular basis on the chemicals is a little cumbersome. Other than that complaint it is doing what I was looking for.

I can create work orders for my team and it shows up on their phones and am able to track time on repairs along with parts, do meter readings, setup automated work orders for general operations.

Screen shot of inventory part attached just if anyone is interested.
