Thanks for your reply. Are you or anyone using Extrutech on outside door? Their website says that the warranty is void if used on outside door.

Don't know why they void the warranty for outside, but if security is an issue, do not use it for outside access. Remember, it's just a hollow plastic door.

I have three Extrutech doors installed. They are for emergency exits in my ibas. No problems. Ofcourse if someone really wants to get in, they will.

Any luck in painting these doors to match?

Did you put a non-lockable door knob for your exits?

I did put a lockable door on. It opens fine from inside when locked from the outside. I do not think you could paint them. My are next to white split face block, so they look OK. And yes, they are expensive.

On the lock, I may take those off this year, because when it gets really cold it freezes. This makes it very hard to open. It is only occassionally, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
