On my Mark VII GT machines there are two replaceable V shaped wedges on the outside of the boom lift cylinder. They are made of some type of plastic looking material, green in color. They are a wear item and no longer available from Mark VII. Their solution is a total new cylinder at about $1200. I think this is totally rediculous, since these machines have only been out of production a few years. Does anyone have any idea for a source for these things?

I would have a local machine shop make a couple out of delrin. We use a local machine shop quite often as its usally cheaper than any factory parts, and its done before a shipping package could get here....

Delrin = great stuff. Made all my bridge rollers out of it. Easy to machine, easy on tooling. Wears well.

Do you have a picture or the part number? I may be able to find new or used parts for this machine. Send me your email and let me know.
