Can someone recommend a source for mecury relays for 2 and 3 motor vacs. My Adams vacs have gone thru 2 in the last week, so I think it istime to start replacing them.

The KleenRite ones have been good for us for many years. I have never heard of anyone having trouble with a mercury relay. I hope someone gives us a heads up if they actually vary in quality. The higher the amp rating probably the better though.

mjwalsh is right, I've been using the ones from Kleen-Rite for years and never had one fail. I use the 35 amp for two-motor vacuums - it's just a few bucks more and way overkill on the load rating, so it should last a very long time.

The only drawback I see for the mercury relays is that they have to be mounted horizontally. That is the reason why I didn't use them in our new dog wash. Hopefully, something I won't regret ---- considering my blow drys require slow blow 20 amp fuses with 30 amp breakers.
