I was looking in the attic the other day and at the end of the HP hose for bay 1 there is a bulge in it with a single drop of water on it.
This hose has to be 20’ long. Should I take it off and go have a new end put on it?…I think there’s enough slack. Or buy the $200 hose?

Or is there any way to hard plumb up the wall and over close to where the rubber goes. It’s just getting so expensive buying hoses. Thanks for any advice!!

I have a swager to make hoses, and if I can't avoid contact with something that might rub through it I slide a cut piece of 3/4" polybraid over it before I put the fittings on, or I slit the hose lengthwise and just slip it over.

I suggest you open your own hose supply house to compete with the overpriced hose shop! You’ll make $$$$ even if you charge half of the other shop.

What do I search for to replace this hose? Is it 3/8” hose with 1/2” male pipe ends?

It looks like 1/2" fittings. I would order it with 3/8" ends and use brass bushings to make it 1/2". The hose is 3/8" ID.
