Looking at updating my meter doors. I currently have GinSan Touchtrons. Have been very good to me for last 12 years. I am looking at there Ultimate touchtrons. GinSan seems to be to be one of the decent carwash Company's still left out there. I cant decide whether or not I should spend the extra $$$ and go with the 12 function or just go with 10. I only need 9 right now!! I am figuring on the cryptopay cc rather then the more expensive DAN system. Anyone have any thoughts opinions advice on this?? If you have installed these boxes, how are they?? Thanks for your input.

I'd go with 12. You never know when the spirit might move you to add something like a wheel brush, In bay Dryer, Triple foam, In bay compressed air and having the function available will make it an easier upgrade.

I went with 12, as Earl says who knows what you might want to add.
I find that having multiple "stop" positions is not a problem.

What specific overall gains do you get from upgrading to the Ultimate & what kind of cost vs using your existing Touchtron? That should be factored in ... in my opinion. If not too expensive ... I would lean towards 12. It is good to know that there are others besides our specific place .... who uses the GinSan distribution boards & possibly vandal resistant buttons vs just rotary.

My touchtron boxes are to small to add bill acceptors or CC acceptance. I know I could add a box for them but would prefer to do everything together. I replaced my pumpstand last year with a Coleman SS pumpstand and am 1 option short on my current meter box. So I can do all I want and then some by going to the new Doors. I would think that the Bill and CC acceptors alone would make for a fairly quick ROI?? Main reason to ask though is any of you that have that door how do you like it. I will be doing them with crypto pay cc acceptance.

while everything in one box makes for a seemingly simple and neat appearance I think adding a Box for bills and / or CC acceptance has some benefit. The seperate box stands out to let peopl notice the Bills and / or CC allowing for a seperate sign / decal more easily and if some numb nuts decides to atack the bill acceptor and causes damage the meter box is still OK.
