Microcoin not rejecting dimes

I have microcoin acceptors in my wash bays. Occasionally I find dimes in the change from the wash. I have always been puzzled as to how the dimes were getting mixed into the change. After some troubleshooting, I have found that with just the right amount of velocity, the dime will fall through a microcoin acceptor and into the coin bin. It does not register value. Has anybody else had this issue?

if it doesn't give credit, its money for that coffee in the morning, that also goes for nickel's and pennies
