Mosmatic vs Air shammee vs others

Hi all,
I am in the process of buying an air dryer that I will install in my plantroom and run a pipe out into the bay. Just a few questions:

Has anyone experience with the Mosmatic air dryers and their "air blade"? https://www.mosmatic.com/en/products/car-wash/
It is common in our area (although expensive I could get a reasonable deal but still...).

How does it stack up to the air shammee? I have never seen one in my area. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
I've seen there is also a nozzle available to make the air stream wider. Have you installed it? Is it permanently attached or does the customer take it off?
Any input?

Or are there any other preferred solutions out there?

We went with Air Logic Dryers and they are already paid for after 3 yrs

We went with the single three phase motor Super Air Shammee II. It has more power than the three vac motor types and should have less maintenance. We were told by a few people that the blade type gun sheets the water off better but can't get the cracks blown out as well. I think they are awkward to hold too.

No fan tip. It's just the standard nozzle gun that comes with it.

I used it, didn't like it but the vehicle I tried it on wasn't waxed and the spray wax didn't make it bead.

The customers who have asked me to add dryers wanted it to blow the water out of the mirrors and crevices.

Another thing I've noticed is most motorcyclists use my dryers (makes sense because who would want to sit on a wet seat). Anyways, I feel like it would be hard to get all the crevices on a motorbike with the fan type.

I don’t have either but have used both. The round / cone shape IMHO works much better than the blade. The blades have to be held closer and have to be held in a certain position/angle depending on the surface you are drying.
With the cone,the customer has to use a sweeping motion, but it seems to have a lot more force at a greater distance. It is also easier to aim/target in awkward places on the car.
Just my experience with the nozzle types.

Thanks for the input. Since Mosmatic or some others have a button to turn them on or increase the pressure is there a cable going through the hose? Does that mean I need a special hose with a cable included?

The Mosmatic system looks like customers would have a very hard and long time drying their vehicles, that's why I like the gun-style with the oval discharge such as the Air Logic and Air Shammee

Would be great if you could have both: a gun for spot drying but when you pull a slider it opens a gap for bigger surfaces. The more I think about it I believe it's really achievable...

How about mixing them up? Don't put the same style nozzle in every bay.

That would be possible if I did all the bays but I am just getting one unit.

I don't remember whose has which, but I have seen units with a wire that runs inside the hose to a switch, and big heavy nozzles with a valve that you have to hold open with a trigger. I do like the idea of a dual type, shouldn't be difficult for someone to design and make. Maybe a cylindrical unit that defaults to a "blade" stripper and when you pull a trigger a tube inside rotates, closing the blade and opening the end nozzle.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Maybe some smart cookie is monitoring this forum and got some idea.
Years ago it was here on the forum when we discussed that "viagra" brush and voila, the Wobblehead came along.
