I ordered enough Coinless devices to install at both of my washes and have every available function work with the system. That includes all vacuums, self serve bays, IBA's, and even my air machine. The devices are wireless, so no need to run wires to each device from the ER. At one wash I had Swipe N Clean in the past, so I put all the devices in that cabinet and just used the 2 wires that went to each SS bay and Vac to connect them. You can have 4 on each device, but the IBA's need one each since each wash uses 1 input. I have yet to install those, but plan on doing it tomorrow.

At my SS only wash, I just finished installing 2 devices in my JC cabinet to power the 6 bays. I used 2 extra wires for each bay from the bundle of wires that is going to each coin box for the functions. My vacs do not have any wiring run to the ER, so I have to put one device per vac except for a couple that are next to each other. Those can share as can the air machine that is next to a vac.

I have all of the SS bays setup as count up and it works perfectly. You start the bay from the app on your phone and then shut it off there as well. For the vacs, I set it up as count down as if I did count up, customers wouldn't be able to change between vac and shampoo or fragrance due to how it achieves count up. It basically bypasses the timer when setup that way, so no way to switch. At least with count down it will match how my Cryptopay swipers are setup.

I have yet to receive or install the signage, so I have only had one customer sign up as I told them about it while I was testing and they loved it. They received $5 in credits to use for signing up and then actually spent $18 additional during their first use.

Loyalty and Wash Club are two big features that I am looking forward to. The default is for the customer to received $5 in credits for every $50 spent. Wash Club is setup so that they receive 50% in bonus credits if they agree to a recurring monthly charge with a minimum of $20. So if they allow me to charge their card $20 each month, the would receive $30 in credits each month. Both the loyalty and bonus Wash Club amount can be changed. Customers receive bonus credit for any referral that sets up an account.

Overall is seems very promising and has a great dashboard. I know it will take time but believe that it will take off over time. I will update as things progress and welcome any questions.

This looks like one of the more interesting app based payment programs. I just downloaded the app to see if there are any washes in our area and there are none. It does not state the distance it uses to determine that. Before we buy anything we will use it as a customer first to see if it makes sense. It looks like we would have to go to Lexington KY to try it. :) What does each devise cost and what are their fees?

The different apps have similarities and also key differences. Depends what you are after. There is a wash with Coinless in Louisville Ky just over 100 miles away and the app picks it up from here, so it goes at least 100+miles out. There are currently no fees with Coinless, but they plan on introducing a monthly fee the end of the year. I think each device lists for $399

I had to open a new merchant account for each wash with Card Connect to use with Coinless, but the processing fees are only 2.69% flat rate, so much lower than Cryptopay. That also makes smaller tickets a non issue.
Is this "all in" rate because you received your monthly statement and calculated it or is this what they told you?

Any chance you could post some pics slash? I’m very curious how this Coinless setup looks in relation to the meter box.

That rate is what was on the agreement I signed. Only other rate is a $10 monthly fee. I will post pics once I get a chance.

What are the costs per SS bay for the devise and for autos. Give a general per site total cost that you spent for equipment.

My thought is that the rate a processor quotes you in their agreement is "Their Rate" and not the all in rate which includes all the other interchange costs an charges by others. Let us know the "All in" cost after you get the first month's statement.

That's what I thought, but they said all in. I wouldn't have agreed to it if it was on top of interchange as that would really add up. Wouldn't be surprised if it was wrong. Guess I'll find out soon.

This sound interesting. So is it better than cryptopay? Do i also have to replace all my 1034 timers from coleman?

I think he said it bypassed the timer completely so the timer type should not matter. You would still have CC users because not everyone wants to use their phone to start a car wash.

Each coinless device can handle 4 inputs, so 4 vacs or ss bays etc. Works with any timer. You can do count up with Dixmor and it shows on the timer, or count down on any timer. You can also do count up on 1034 timers, but you wouldn't want to if they are combo vacs as in that mode users can't select shampoo or fragrance since it would bypass the timer. I went with count down on all vacs. so all it's doing is sending a coin signal to the timer just like putting in quarters or dollars.

This also allows me to turn on any device at my wash just using my phone. I just installed it on my 2 IBA's and it works great, but my wifi signal was weak and didn't make it that far. I am installing another access point that is closer so that they will work.

I still have cryptopay on everything. This is just another way for people to pay and is great as they can join a wash club and get loyalty points for every dollar spent at the wash.

I think the show special price for each device is $400
