I just added Simoniz ceramic coat where the HP wax is. And Double bond is rainX. I just want the best quality wash. Does the LP rinse make sense? 9D46C61E-9491-4609-8D01-7986FB256AD6.jpeg

The Hp ceramic will break up the triple foam - I do not see a need for lo rinse #5.
Also - after the hp ceramic, there is not need for another hp rinse - it is not a foaming product and will help strip away any remaining triple foam. So I would keep the lp rinse #7 and get rid of Hp rinse #8.
In short, you can eliminate 5 and 8 with no consequence that I can see.

Sweet! Thank you!

Is this ok? After I took out 5 and 8, I thought it would make sense to hp rinse, then ceramic (hp wax) then SFR. So I did away with the other lp rinse. Does the ceramic need to be rinsed much? 3856E0FC-62D2-4121-9CFF-96CE209D5D11.jpeg

No - ceramic does not need much rinsing at all. It is not foaming and pretty much rinses itself because it is so repellent. Do you have another way to apply it rather than high pressure? You have three high pressure cycles and probably don’t need to apply it High pressure. Nothing wrong with it, but I am just thinking hp pump life - you can put this product through a lower pressure cycle or rainbar/productivity arch cycle etc. depending on your machine. Looks great otherwise - just trying to save you on hp cycle if you can. I think two is sufficient. A productivity pass for the ceramic will also save time.

Thank you. I’m not familiar enough with all of this yet. I don’t think I can apply it differently.
Sometimes I think the chemicals don’t do much good when they’re applied through the hp either. I’m using well water but like you said, pump wear. On second thought Maybe there is a setting to apply it low pressure, I’ll check tomorrow. I called it quits after this.

Oh boy - unfortunately you’ll see plenty of things like that.
I think you are on the right track with your wash packages - just a few minor tweaks that will make your process most efficient.

I must have missed something? What’s the deal with the video? How does that have anything to do with automatic programming🤔

Did you read it? I’d just had enough for one day after that and didn’t want to deal with the car wash anymore. Thanks for this annoying reply. It’s par.

Wow man….get some rest and have a beer. Annoying?! I thought I the car hit you or something. That’s an everyday occurrence in the self serve business. You better get used to it

I've had people drive inches from my ladder in a bay while I'm on it. I've had people pull into a bay I'm cleaning and park and expect me to just stop what I'm doing. I was getting my wash open today after three weeks being down for a broken water main, and I must have had fifty people pull up to the barricade and ask if it's open. While I was pulling the tape off the coin slots I found one where some idiot had just pushed coins right through the tape. Another was jammed with coins because someone pulled the tape off, tried it, jammed it, put the tape back and left. Gotta let the stupids roll off your back or you won't last long in this business.

Yep, you’re right.

It took me three calls to the police to get rid of this hemorrhoid that showed up at 2:00 Am. It was roughly noon before they were towed. Or maybe I shouldn’t share video clips in this forum as some members might see it as slightly out of context and become confused. Better watch,MEP. Your post has nothing to do with the topic lol !!

If you're having a lot of troubles like that, get a blanket CTW for your property. You won't have to be there to meet the police, they can just show up, issue a criminal trespass warrant, and escort the person off, then if they show up again they get arrested. You only have to show a photo or video that they've been there and they go arrest them. Laws for towing will vary by state. In Texas I have to have specific signs posted and a contract with a towing company, then all I have to do is call the company and they'll tow an abandoned car. Costs me nothing but the sign. Some jackass left a car in a bay on a Saturday night, police said it wasn't stolen so not their problem, towing company wouldn't move it or remove it from the property because it wasn't mine. I ended up using my big floor jack under the front end and three of us pushed it out of the bay using the jack to steer the front.

That’s a shame that we have to deal with all of this. I’ve met so many good hearted wonderful people though. It really makes it worthwhile.
A little bit of kindness goes a long way. I’m really excited about the help washnshine gave me with the passes. I think the wash quality has improved. I was informed by a tow company today where to go have signs made. I’ll get on that ASAP. Thank you as well !!

It's definitely easy to let a few bad people ruin things for you. I met a super nice lady last night and really enjoyed talking to her for a few minutes. Put me in a good mood for the rest of the evening.
