Nashville Meetup - Dinner

Is anyone interested in having a foum dinner in Nashville this year?

We tend to have one every year, so I would be surprised if we don't this year as well. That being said, I will be driving down on Sunday and will be stag. If anyone wants to get together with me that evening, I'm for it.

I am flying in Friday and flying out Wednesday morning.

Last time we had a great meal but it was so loud in the room I couldn't hear much of the conversation. I forget what member lives in the area, maybe he could recommend a place for the meet-up.

I usually try to put together a text message group but sometimes it gets annoying if 1 or 2 people are trying to communicate between the 2 of them but include everyone else. I'll start another thread on that about a week before the convention.

Jackson is the one that lives in the Nashville area. I'm staying at Bode (CWG is as well), which is close to the convention center, but I will have a car, so it's not a big deal to me where we go. If any certain place jumps out to anyone, I'm ok with it.

I'll plan a place that's close to, but not quite downtown unless there are any objections - that'll broaden the selection.

I actually doubt that will be good for most, since I can picture many getting in late Sunday or Monday morning. I would say have the forum dinner on Monday or Tuesday like usual. I think this Sunday thing is more for the stag losers that get there early, like me. I'm including you in that bunch as well...

I am up for dinner. Monday night is an event by the Car Wash Show, so maybe Tuesday evening would work?.

I will be coming in late Monday night and just going to show on Tuesday. Not sure that the wife will want to go to a group dinner or not??? I am staying at the Hayes st. Hotel?? Jackson any knowledge of this place?? Will look forward to running into some of you at the show. I will probably be spending some time at the Ginsan Booth. Then sightseeing until Friday night flight home.

I don't have any direct knowledge of the Hayes St. Hotel, but it's in a convenient location in a fine area. I'd Uber over to and from the show if it were me.

I've got an obligation Tuesday night, so I'm going to make reservations at The Pub (https://experiencethepub.com/nashville/) in the Gulch for 7:30pm on Monday night. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join! You guys should try to schedule meet-ups on Sunday and/or Tuesday, too (I'll be there in spirit).

We are coming in Sunday late afternoon but have to leave Monday after the show. It's our first year to the show and probably won't get to see everything we want to with our tight schedule.
