New Hot Water Heater

Had my hot water heater quick yesterday and now have to buy a new one. The hot water is only used for a couple sinks that I have here.

Anybody know what is the best kind to get?

Such as tankless on demand or just get another tank water heater?

Thanks

If you've got just a couple of sinks I'd go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy the least expensive 30 gallon gas water heater. If you lived near by I'd give you a 40 gallon gas water heater that was given to me, I never used it.

There are some small on-demand electric heaters meant for just such a thing. They're usually small, about the size of a cigar box and run on 110V. You'd need one for each sink, but they're very efficient if the sink isn't used much. Any tank-type water heater will have to keep reheating the water all day for when it's needed.

Thanks that would be great to get a hot water heater from you. To bad I wasnt closer:) I only really use the hot water during the winter because washing your hands in hot water feels much better than cold water. I just hate buying something that only gets used a few times a month. Gotta have it though
