i found the new issue of SSCWN in the mail yesterday. So far I only have read through 1/2 of it but I am really impressed. I like the articles from various regional shows that reflect open discussions by real life operators and not "advisors" . I saw several new ideas that went into more depth than we get on this forum. Keep up the good work Kate and Jackson!

I read a bit of mine today as well. Although Jarrett is definitely a one of a kind character, I like Kate's writing and she seems wise beyond her years. She and Jackson thanked me profusely for getting them together, but I just told them as long as it was named "Pat's Self Service Car Wash News" we would be good...I don't know what happened with that.

That's known as the old bait & switch! ;)

And thanks, soapy - obviously Kate's the MVP.

Got the winter 2016 issue.

If only you had a graphic with a female superhero holding a High Pressure gun (Like the Uncle Sam graphic from years ago) we could have made copies / stickers and used them at the wash.

Well I don't agree with all the back slapping on what a great issue it is.Tricks of the trade section is just a rehash of what was on the forum site and is very old news. Why doesn't the editor take a survey to find out how many subscribers to SSCWN do not go to the forum site. What a waste of ink.Do I have any ideas about what would be interesting,no I don't have the time to do somebody else's job. Just my opinion .Erik
Geez, you're just now deciding a two year old issue wasn't up to your standards...smh

There are still many operators who do not use the forum or internet for that matter. The printed page is the only way they will get this information.

I totally agree with this. Most people I talk to, either are not familiar with the forum, or are and just don't use it. It may get more traffic if it was named better (carwashforum, for example), but I digress. Someone called me, regarding my article in the current issue. When I mentioned the forum, he said "I might get on the computer once a year". Even our good buddy Randy is somewhat back in the stone age. He doesn't text, so we can't exchange info or pictures efficiently. I swear, the last time I saw him using his phone, he actually had to crank it.
