I just got into the car wash business last year and was going to go to the conventions to learn about all the paystaation options out there and well got bent over by covid. lol I'm looking for a new or used pay station that can do coins, tokens, cash, credit cards, and has a touch screen. i dont want to be beholden to a company like DRB/Unitech with extortion fees.... i mean "Support fees." Oh, and also around 5k. used is what i think it might have to be with that price.

You're really going to struggle to find a decent touch screen pay station for $5k unless you jump on the glut of XPT's that Mister Car Wash locations are pulling out (they're moving from DRB to Micrologic). I'd say triple your budget and you'll be able to find something that meets your needs and won't require a bunch of replacement parts or service work.
got those already from carwash consignment. i put in the portal ti software from unitech and now neither unitech nor drb will give me any support. they even CC'd their lawyer on the email chain telling me to stop calling them even though a xpt from drb is really just a portal ti from unitech part for part.
