Hey all. I recently purchased a rundown wash (Old SuperWash), refurbed it and installed a new D&S IQ and reconditioned D&S 5000. We totally reconstructed the auto bays to fit the new units to include new roof lines, new doors, widening the end bay as well as raising the cieling heights. In the SS bays we installed all new booms, added a white cieling and new meter boxes. On the outside we added hand laid stone waynescoat, new lighting throughout and paint. New relocated vacuum islands are being built this week. pictures below:

Below is a video of the New IQ washing my Lamborghini. This machine has performed flawlessly and has been recieved well with my customers.

I went out to the D&S factory last week to check out the IQ and it is a impressive piece of equipment. It's has to be the only machine that I have seen that takes a picture of the vehicle and the brushes follow the contour of the vehicle. The amount of the brush that touches the vehicle can be adjusted by how many inches you want the brush to scrub the vehicle with the computer. It has to be the quietest soft touch I have ever seen. The wash packages have infinite ajustablity. I don't know what the longevity or reliability of it will be but if first impressions are anything it's looks realy good.

Hey guys, check out the Youtube link at the bottom of my first post. It show's the machine in action! Heavily edited but it gives a general idea.

In that video did you just have the top brush only wash the top and not have the side brushes come in on the sides?

Good Eye! The car was too far to the left and the programming wouldn't let the right brush contact the car. The limits have since been fixed. Remember, the unit was just installed with a few programming bugs. We rewashed the car with it centered in the bay and it worked fine. I just used the first wash on that portion of the video. ;)

Very nice job. Especially considering what you started with. There is a Superwash down the street from me the bank owns and everytime i drive by the gears start to turn. Did you get just one or did you have to by multiple wash sites? From what i have been told the superwashes were sold in franchise groups rather than 1 site. BTW, nice Lambo!

Very nice looking wash. What kind of meter boxes did you put it? I like the big display.
