I rehabbed an older SS (4 Bay) and reopened in January 2015. Everything has been running fairly smoothly.
Now I am getting CROSS CONTAMINATION from Bay 2 into Bay 1.

When Bay 1 is being used, everything works just fine...Until someone enters Bay 2 and uses Tire Cleaner or HP Soap. If the customer in Bay 1 is using HP Rinse, the water starts to match the product being dispensed in Bay 2.

This obviously irritates the customer who is a few seconds away from having a fully rinsed car when Green Tire Cleaner enters the HP hose.

Any ideas or help? Thank you very much.

Or solenoids from Bay 1 acitvating Bay 2 Wires at solenoid has some sort of short. . Leave Bay one selector as you say with bay on but unplug the solenoid valve and try bay 2 and see what happens. If it does not happen it's a wiring issue.

there is just a wire going someplace that it shouldn't, or a hose doing the same thing.

It sounds like it because there's not really any way tire cleaner can back up from one bay into the high pressure of another. I'd have to assume it uses the main pump with a VF drive for the low pressure functions to the bays.
